Hello potential trekkers, The purpose of this note is to recommend (highly) the services of Nepal Environmental Trekking (P.) Ltd. My new wife and I went on an almost month-long trek to Kanchenjunga base camps November 2000. Our lead sirdar/sherpa was Ang Kaji Sherpa, and our head cook was Pradeep kumar Karki. It was fabulous….I have literally hundreds of pictures including wild blue mountain goats at Pang Pema, the incredibly old Gompa at Ghunsa, and numerous faces of Nepali villagers we met along the way. The food was tasty and healthy, we never got sick once along the way and were given plenty of water for drinking and washing. Despite a premature and unexpected snowstorm at Sele La Kaji Sherpa led us the way back down to Tseram. Everything was expertly provided for us. They are environmentally conscious. There are no hidden cost along the way (we could have gotten along fine without bringing any money if we did not really need those cokes or beers on the way back). I wish I knew what else to say to convince you. Kanchenjunga is a difficult camping trek and we encountered a number of trekkers along the way who had various problems with their staff or their food. Everybody on our staff (22 including temporary porters) was considerate and great and I'd like to think we've made a couple of real friends. Just a very short trek to Nagarkot and back. The view was perfect as well as the Hotel we stayed in. The service of our guide and porter was flow less. Thank you once again.

The Jomsom trip was great ! We even did it in 6 days, prettyhard, but so nice. We had the best guide, Ratna, we could wish. Hope for the next time we will do the Everest Base Camp with him. We had a wonderful 7-day trek from Jomsom to Beni along the river valley in the Annapurna region. Our guide, Ang Dawa Sherpa, had a comprehensive knowledge of the region, it's history, travel routes a times, mountain characteristics, and alternative options. His English was also superb. The trek route was beautiful with a varied terrain & variety of vegetation, environment settings. The teahouses were very comfortable and clean. We were pleased that we remained perfectly healthy throughout the entire trek. Nepal Environmental Trekking covered all of our needs. Nava, was extremely responsive to all of our questions & concern prior to booking and arriving in Nepal. We were thoroughly pleased & impressed with the services & knowledge of Nepal Environmental Trekking and it's staffs. We would certainly recommend the group and use them again when we return to Nepal.

Many thanks for a wonderful trek in Mustang and beyond to Nava and our guide Ramesh and the most helpful Gopal, our porter. This was a challenging and enjoyable experience.
