Pass through charming Thakali villages like Syang and Marpha, known for their Tibetan Refugee camp and vibrant local markets. Enjoy the windy landscapes of the Kali Gandaki valley as you make your way to Jomsom (2713m.), headquarters of Mustang, offering magnificent views of Nilgiri and Tilicho peak. Your trek continues from Jomsom to Kagbeni (2810m), a three-hour journey tracing the banks of the Kali Gandaki river through the arid landscape. Pass through Kagbeni, known for its primitive Tibetan architecture and ancient monastery dating back to the 15th century. Stay overnight at lodge.
Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath (3710m.), a four-hour ascent through stunning landscapes dotted with caves, old Tibetan-style villages, and lush apple orchards.
