Nar Phu Trek

Nar Phu trek is a recently open trekking route that goes away from popular Annapurna Circuit trail and has still maintained its fame as an untouched and not commercialized trek. Nar Phu is a hidden valley between two popular trekking regions; Annapurna and Manaslu. This region has not been affected by mass tourism yet, so it is worth to visit Nar Phu Valley before it becomes commercial trekking trail. This trek rewards you with splendid mountain views, undisturbed religious sites, unique culture and life style of local peoples. Yak and sheep farming, trading and harvesting of medicinal herbs based on indigenous knowledge are major livelihood opportunities existed in the area.

The Kang La Pass (5315m) is an absolutely spectacular pass offering you magnificent view of Annapurna I, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, and many other astounding peaks. Nar Phu Valley trek is equally challenging and rewarding for those who are keen on exploring remote villages and traditional way of people’s life-style. The region is totally different than outside world and ensures pristine nature as a result of less human intervention.
