Overview

Paragliding is undoubtedly one of most adventurous sports in Nepal. If you would like to fly like a bird in the air and feel the beauty of landscape beneath then paragliding is for you.  Appreciating the beauty of the tallest Himalayas is no doubt one of the most inspiring things you can do on a paragliding flight. Sarangkot (1592m) is the best-known launching spot for paragliding. Located in the scenic valley of Pokhara, Sarangkot gives us the magnificent views of the beautiful Phewa Lake and spectacular Himalayas including Annapurana and Macchapuchre (Fist Tail Mountain).

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Enjoy Paragliding

We take a 20 min jeep ride from Pokhara to Sarangkot the viewpoint 2000ft above Lakeside. From here we can see 3 of the highest mountains in the world. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manasulu, all over 8000 m. We offer 3 types of tandem flight from here.

  1. Phewa Tal View
In the morning and late afternoon these 15min flights give you a taste of uncovered flight, taking you over Pokhara lake and then landing by a Lakeside bar.

  2. Cloud buster
This midday flight gives you the thrill of high flight as we thermal up above Sarangkot in the company of eagles and vultures. It takes from 30minutes to 1 hour. We land by the lake.

  3. Cross-country
This offers you the chance to experience flying from one valley to another. Using thermals, clouds and birds to guide us, we take you on an unforgettable journey north of Pokhara towards the big mountains. We fly as long as we can and aim to return to Pokhara that afternoon.

Acrobatic Flying
The biggest shot of adrenaline in the Himalayas. See what our world class aero pilots can do with a wing as you loop, spin and spiral through the air. Performing maneuvers are called “Helicopter” “SAT” “Back-fly” “Tumble” and “Wingover”. This 10 to 20 minutes flight will leave your breathless.
