The normal route of ascent to Naya Kanga (5844m) is via the snowy North - East Ridge.

The approach to Naya kanga peak is through the Langtang valley surrounded by appealing mountain peaks. Climbing this peak is mixed with an adventure walk through forest of Langtang National Park, the second largest national park in Nepal. Much of the trails touch Langtang National Park which is forested with pine, maple, oak, rhododendrons etc. The forest is inhabited by endangered and unique species like Red Pandas, leopard, musk deer, Himalayan black bear, rhesus and languor monkeys and and even Yeti!.

In the second leg of the trail, you will make a gradual descent to Helambu. Helambu is a small community of Sherpa people renowned for their hospitality and apples.
