Depart from Kathmandu and travel to the medieval city of Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its beautifully preserved palaces, temples, traditional Newari architecture, and vibrant local culture. Continue to the charming hill town of Dhulikhel, renowned for its peaceful surroundings and spectacular panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain range.

From Dhulikhel, drive to the sacred Namobuddha, one of Nepal's most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites. Surrounded by serene hills and monasteries, Namobuddha is revered as the place where Prince Mahasattva is believed to have offered his life to save a starving tigress and her cubs. After exploring the monastery and peaceful surroundings, return to Dhulikhel before driving back to Kathmandu.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival to Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be met and welcomed by our airport representative. You will be greeted traditionally with flower garlands and then transfer to your hotel. After hotel check-in, you will go for a visit to Pashupatinath and Doleshwor and return to hotel by late afternoon. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. 

Day 2 : Drive to Dhulikhel via Bhaktapur 

After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Namo Buddha via Bhaktapur and Dhulikhel. You will stopover at Bhaktapur for a cultural tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is a world heritage site. The major attractions of Bhaktapur durbar square are Nyatapola Temple, 55-windows palace, Taumadhi Square, Pottery Square etc. From here you will continue your journey to the beautiful town of Dhulikhel. Stay overnight at hotel in Dhulikhel. 

Day 3 : Tour of Namo Buddha - Dhulikhel 

Today you will drive from Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha. Spend the day exploring Namo Buddha Monastery and other sites in and around Namo Buddha. Namo Buddha is a famous Buddhist pilgrimage site where Prince Mahasattva is believed to have sacrificed himself to save starving Tigress and her cubs. Namo Buddha offers great views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks and green hills along with peaceful setting and village lifestyle. By late afternoon you will drive back to Dhulikhel. Stay overnight at hotel in Dhulikhel.

Day 4 : Drive back to Kathmandu via Panauti 

After breakfast, you will drive from Dhulikhel to Panauti. Panauti is an ancient trading town known for rich Newari culture and tradition and Indreswhor Mahadev Temple, where the famous Makar Mela is organized every 12 years. The town is located at the confluence of Roshi and Punyamati Rivers. Afterwards drive back to Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.  

Day 5 : Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for final departure.

As per your flight schedule, our airport representative will transfer you to Kathmandu international airport for your final departure to your home.
