Overview

This program offers you a tour of all important Buddhist sites in Nepal plus a side trip to the Chitwan Jungle Safari to some real wildlife action and a taste of the Himalayas. Kathmandu Valley is home to most of the Buddhist sites in Nepal including Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath, Kopan Monastery. After visiting these sites you will reach Nagarkot, a popular hill station to watch the Himalayan panorama before driving to Pokhara. In Pokhara you will have ample time to hike to World Peace Stupa and a tour of Tibetan Refugee Camp. 
 
You will then visit Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s oldest national park which is home to Rhinos, Elephants and Tigers among others. The final leg of the tour will take you to Lumbini, undoubtedly the most important Buddhist shrine. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha and a treasure house of archaeological items, artifacts and scripts from the bygone period. 

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival to Kathmandu.

Sightseeing tour of Buddhist shrines like Swoyambhunath Stupa. You visit Pharping with a Monastery & Chovar Gorge. Visit to Mahaboudha in Patan, Machhendra Nath, Min Nath and Rudra Varna Mahavihar. Hiranya Varna Mahavihar . You stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Sightseeing tour of various Buddhist Shrines.

Sightseeing tour of Buddhist Shrines. You visit shrines such as Chabahil Stupa & Boudhanath Stupa, Around Boudhanath stupa there are so many Stupas to visit and then drive to Kopan Monastery for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6 : Drive to Changu Narayan and Bhaktapur.
