Overview

It is situated at an elevation of 2285m southwest of Kathmandu. Champdevi is a pilgrimage site home to a Buddhist Stupa and a Hindu shrine.

You will take an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Pharping (about 2 hours) situated 16 kilometers south of Kathmandu and en route to Dakshinkali Temple.

From here you will commence your hike along the pine forested ridge about half an hour, and takes another 3 hour's walk to reach Champadevi. From this spot, the views of central and western Himalayan ranges are magnificent. After enjoying the splendid views, you come down following the same path to Pharping for about 2 hours and drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 1 : Day Hike Tour in Champadevi (around Kathmandu Valley)
