Trip Itinerary

This drive will take most of the morning, leaving much of the afternoon to fall in love with the beauty of Pokhara. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

The trail ascends all the way to Pothana through forests until you reach the village called Dhampus. Dhampus is a Gurung village which gives you an opportunity to relish some magnificent views of the Annapurna range, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. The ascending trail follows to Pothana through the forests. Stay overnight at lodge.

The first part of your trek from Pothana to Deurali is a gradual ascent. From Deurali your trail descends to Bheri Kharka. From there your path is flat until Landruk. The trail from Landruk is a steep descent until Modi Khola when the trail begins to ascend all the way to Ghandruk village. Ghandruk is a big Gurung village from where you enjoy mountain views of the Annapurna ranges and Fishtail. Stay overnight at lodge.

You begin your trail along a flat path passing through forests, rocks and terraces. After Kimche (1638m.) the trail descends through human settlements and terraces up to Seuli Bazaar. From here, the trail moves along the bank of Modi Khola to Birethanti. En- route, you pass through forests, rice terraces, waterfalls and green scenarios. Birethanti is a small town with a few lodges, shops and human settlements. You then walk for almost twenty minutes along a flat path up to Nayapul (New Bridge). Here you board your vehicle to drive back to Pokhara takes approximately one and a half hours. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu you head up to Damauli, Dumre, Muglin and Kurintar where Nepal's first cable car is operated to reach Manakamana Temple. En- route, you can enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people engaged in their daily work. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to the capital city. You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 25 minutes.
