Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek is an exotic and interesting trekking in Nepal, uncrowned terrains provide a golden chance to explore traditional villages with infinite and diverse cultures and view incredible scenery with spectacular views of silvery mountains and tempting views of rivers and exotic valleys. Definitely a trek you will remember for a lifetime!
 
Mardi Himal is the name given to the feature of the long rising ridge and its summit that form the southwesterly lower slope of Mount Fishtail (Machhapuchhre).

Note: There are different categories of Hotels in Kathmandu ranging from budget to 5 star hotels. We are happy to arrange your hotel accommodation in Kathmandu as per your interest and budget. Please inform us in advance about the type or category or price range of hotel that you would like to stay in. 

Trip Itinerary

After early morning breakfast, our guide will pick you-up from your hotel to bus station. Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) takes about seven hours. This drive will take most of the morning, leaving much of the afternoon to explore the various sites of Pokhara.

Pokhara is tourist's paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Stay overnight at hotel.

The camp offers an excellent view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Maccapuchre and other peaks. You can also view majestic sunrise views. Stay overnight at lodge.

The trail passes through Pothana and Deurali. Forest Camp is the last tea house before Base Camp. Trek will consist of ascents as well as descents in some places and passing through beautiful rhododendron, oak forests. Stay overnight at lodge. 

Along the way you will be carrying packed lunch. Stay overnight at lodge.

There are no hotels and lodges along the trail so you will be carrying packed lunches. The earlier part of the trail will ascend. Camp at Badal Danda (3200m).

The trek is up and down through the forest. You will carry a lunch pack along the way.  Stay overnight in tent.

Trek from to Sirka Kharka to Mardi South Base Camp (4120m) via takes about 3 hours and then back to Sirka Kharka. You will have breakfast in Sirkha and then trek to Premro-Shyo Camp. The area is used as grazing ground for sheep and yak. You will have the opportunity to watch beautiful views of Annapurna South, Annapura II, Mardi peak, Gangapurna and Hiunchuli and one of the best views of Macchapuchre.  Stay overnight in tent. 

The trail steeply descends and passes through Pipar Kharka. Karuwa is a Gurung village where you can enjoy farming and cattle. Stay overnight at lodge.

Gharchok is a farming village located on Seti River bank and is inhabited by Magar, Gurung, Brahman and Chettri. You will get a glimpse of natural hot spring at Kharpani along the way. Stay overnight at lodge.

Trek from Gharchok down to Hyangja for about 3 hours and then drive back to Pokhara takes about half an hour. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli, Dumre, Muglin and Kurintar where Nepal's first Cable car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to capital city of Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
