Highlights

Overview

Langtang Gaosaikunda Helambu trek offers natural beauty with the views of magnificent langtang himalayan range.

Langtang is a narrow valley that lies just south of the Tibetan border. It is sandwiched between the main Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. Langtang has over 70 glaciers of varying sizes. The three major areas are Langtang, Gosainkunda (a holy lake at 4300m) and Helambu. Gosainkunda is a sacred lake, which is very important for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Helambu valley is very famous for its natural beauty and wonderful climate with the superb views of the magnificent snow-covered mountains. The area covers typical highland Sherpa villages along with beautiful Rhododendron forests.

This Company With Its Friendly And Personal Atmosphere Really Made Me Happy!

"My friend and I have done Langtang Helambu trek for 14 days, and I can deeply suggest to do trekking with Nepal Environmental Trekking (P) Ltd. We had a very experienced and friendly guide named Hari Krishna Sapkota, who made it easy for us to enjoy the beauty of the Himalayan Mountains. Our cook did also an excellent job and we were happy to have really good and healthy food after a long day walk. Our porters were also very friendly and open. We often spend nights, talking about their culture and other things. I have to say it again, that this company with its friendly and personal atmosphere really made me happy and probably gave me impressions which will stay a whole life."

Helambu –Gosainkunda – Langtang Trek

We did the Helambu –Gosainkunda – Langtang trek. The trek itself was very good, hard physical work but very rewarding, especially the views on the pass and the Cherco Ri. Our guide Santosh could tell a lot about the region and its history. We had lot of fun! It was my first in the mountains of Nepal and I loved it! It was hard work but afterwards it was all worth it. We had a lot of fun with our guide Santosh and our porter Ashok. We were well taken care of with the food and our wished to sleep sometimes in another lodge than planned. So I would really recommend the trip and this organization and guide !
