Paro Valley

Paro Tour:
Paro Valley Tour focuses on the landmarks and attractions of Paro Valley. This is a short vacation into Paro Valley to learn about the culture and history of Bhutan. The only international airport of Bhutan is also located in Paro.
Paro Valley tour include sightseeing of Drugyel Dzong, the ruined fortress which was once defended the valley from Tibetan invasion and the viewing of Mount Chomolhari (24,000ft). While exploring Paro, we will also have scenic drive through dense forests of rhododendron and magnolia. Rinpung Dzong is considered to be built by Padmasambhava and acted as a fort against the invading Tibetan forces.
The Tigers Nest Temple or Taktshang is an impressive monastery built on a 1000m tall cliff. Bhutanese believe it is here that Guru Rinpoche landed riding a black tigress. Additionally you also go on a tour of Thimphu valley, drive around the beautiful valley of Gangtey and visit Jampa Lhakhang, Kurje Lhakhang, Tamshing Monastery, Konchosum Lhakhang and Lamae Gompa in Bumthang Valley.
