itinerary
Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal. The trek from Sundarijal to Chisapani through the Shivpuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve takes about four and a half hours. We will pass through Mulkharka, a picturesque Tamang settlement, and oak forests before reaching Chisapani (2300m.). Stay overnight at lodge.
Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot takes about six and a half hours. Nagarkot, (2175m) is a popular hill station to see the Himalaya ranges, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchanjunga in the east. Stay overnight at hotel.
Trek from Nagarkot to Changunarayan takes approximately three and a half hours. We will visit the temple of Changunarayan, built in 323 AD by King Hari Datta Varma, and richly decorated with sculptures and carvings. From Changunarayan we will board a vehicle to get back to Kathmandu.
