One of the most significant features of this trek is that it can be done through out the year as it falls under rain shadow area. Although the entire route remains below 4000 meters yet the trek is purely stimulating. This is a remarkable trek where you can explore the Buddhist and Hindu culture as well. Some of the attractions of this trek are the spectacular mountain views, deepest gorge in the world and Jomsom which is stunning arid valley you.

Itinerary Outline

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) takes about six hours.
Day 02: Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom (2713 m.) and trek Jomsom to Kagbeni (2895 m.) for about three hours.
Day 03: Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath (3795 m.) takes about four hours.
Day 04: Trek from Muktinath to Thorong top (5416m.) and trek back to Muktinath and it takes about almost eight hours.
Day 05: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom via Kagbeni (2895 m.) and it takes about five hours.
Day 06: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara takes about 35 minutes.
Day 07:
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist mini bus, takes about seven hours.
