Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek

Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek

At 5787m, Mardi Himal is one of smaller trekking peaks suitable for both beginners and experienced climbers. Interested climbers with littler or no experience of high altitude climbing can also attempt this mountain easily.

Mardi Himal is located in the Annapurna region, straddling Macchapuchre or Fishtail mountain and Annapurna ranges. It can be clearly seen during the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

Mardi Himal can be approached from multiple faces, the standard route being the eastern face. After reaching the col climbers will have to face steep ridges, drooping glaciers snow and occasionally the risk of avalanches.

The summit looks out on a tapestry of Annapurna and Macchapuchre ranges and unto the rolling green hills and woodlands below.
