Cultural Trek to Jomsom

Cultural Trek to Jomsom

In Jomsom Cultural Trek you will especially be able to explore the age-old Buddhist culture, visit local gompas, appreciate the lifestyle and hospitality of Thakali people and visit the villages of Jomsom, Kagbeni, Tukuche and Kalopani.

One of the most significant features of the Jomsom Cultural Trek is that it can be done throughout the year (All Trekking Season) as it falls under the rain shadow area. The landscape here is barren and resembles much like Tibetan plateau.

As the trek on this route falls below 3000 meters with well managed trails, any one with no trekking experience can also join this trek. The trek offers stimulating experience of local culture and pristine nature with the backdrop of highest mountains in the world.

The trekking route offers spectacular views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges along with the deepest gorge in the world that lies between Annapurna and Dhualgiri. An uninterrupted sights of rocky cliffs, deep valleys, Himalayan fed rivers and unique set of flora and fauna will mesmerize you.
