Overview

Dudh Pokhari trek is geographically spectacular trek that takes you to Dudh Pokhari, a high altitude lake at the height of 5300m. You will be rewarded with close views of Mt. Manaslu (8163m), Himal Chuli (7896m), P29 or Dr. Harka Gurung Peak (7871m), Annapurna range including Manang valley and Lamjung Himal.

Dudh Pokhari or Milky Lake is believed by Hindus to be the abode of god Shiva. Pilgrims come here from far and wide to pay their respect to Lord Shiva and dip in the lake three times with the belief to wash away their sins.
